Entertainment

Our virtual celebration took you from "woe to whoa!" by featuring the following entertainment by many of Kansas City’s favorite performers, as well as newcomers from the UMKC Conservatory MFA Theatre program, including:

Walter Coppage and Vanessa Severo as hosts, actors Chioma Anyanwu and Mark Robbins performing a spoken word piece that highlights the impact our dark theatres have had on so many, and a musical celebration directed by KCRep Musical Director Anthony Edwards that will feature singers Darrington Clark, Lauren Braton, Joe Carr, Allison Jones, Noah Lindquist, and Shon Ruffin and UMKC students Jessica Andrews, Meredith Noel Johnson, Marisa Tajeda, and Franklin Wagner. And no Gala would be complete without an auction! Scott Jones of Raising Paddles is honored to partner with KCRep as Fundraising Auctioneer & Special Event Consultant. Scott is a Nationally Certified Auctioneer and the only auctioneer in the world to have earned the prestigious certification of Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and one of only 200 Benefit Auction Specialists.

Thanks to our Emcees
